The problem we solve

An Iranian developer faces two walls when reaching for OpenAI, Anthropic or Google models: access and payment. Iranian bank cards do not work on those services, and a dollar subscription is not an option for most teams.

IranRouter removes both. You get a key, top up a rial wallet, and the code you already wrote for OpenAI keeps working — only the base_url changes.

How it works

Your request reaches us, is translated to the target provider's format, leaves through our egress path, and streams back to you. If a provider errors or runs out of quota, the request fails over to the next route automatically.

Cost is computed from the tokens actually consumed at the day's FX rate and deducted from your wallet. A small amount is reserved before each request so a balance cannot go negative; the reservation is released and the real cost taken when the request completes.

What we care about

• Transparent pricing: every model's rate is published here and read from the same system that bills you.
• Honesty about limits: what is not supported yet is stated plainly in the docs, not buried in a contract.
• No unnecessary third parties: our site and dashboard load no third-party analytics.
• Real invoices: every wallet top-up gets an official invoice, with VAT calculated inside the amount.

Service status

Live provider and model status is always on the status page. When something is broken we would rather say so there than show you a healthy-looking page.
